Timken Company adquirirá Engineered Solutions Group (iMECH) y ampliará su cartera de rodamientos de ingeniería
The Timken Company, líder mundial en rodamientos de ingeniería y productos de transmisión industrial, ha firmado un acuerdo para adquirir Engineered Solutions Group, con sede en Houston, Texas (también conocido como Innovative Mechanical Solutions o iMECH).
iMECH produce cojinetes axiales, cojinetes radiales, recubrimientos especiales y otros componentes utilizados principalmente en la industria energética. La empresa cuenta actualmente con unos 70 empleados y se espera que los ingresos del proyecto en 2023 alcancen los 30 millones de dólares.
La adquisición de iMECH ampliará nuestra línea de productos y creará importantes oportunidades de venta cruzada, consolidando así nuestra posición de liderazgo global en el campo de los rodamientos de ingeniería.
iMECH ha establecido asociaciones con varias empresas de servicios energéticos grandes y reconocidas para proporcionar rodamientos de ingeniería de alta calidad para escenarios de aplicaciones extremadamente exigentes.

Timken financiará la adquisición utilizando efectivo y líneas de crédito renovables existentes.
La transacción está sujeta a las condiciones de cierre habituales y se espera que se complete en el cuarto trimestre de este año.
